Therapeutic Approach

Deciding to start therapy is not easy. I believe that the most important tool for success is the fit between therapist and client. Creating a safe space where a child, teenager, or adult feels comfortable sharing is crucial. I take a client-first approach, allowing the client set the pace and “meeting the person where they are at.” This allows you to develop a sense of autonomy while feeling validated and heard.

I integrate evidence-based psychological practices with the needs of my clients. My approach is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while integrating strategies from other modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), and Parent Management Training (PMT) depending on the concerns of the client. I also have specialized training in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), The Unified Protocol (UP), and MATCH-ADTC.

By fostering a supportive and empathetic environment, I empower individuals and families to navigate their unique paths to healing and growth. Together, we work towards meaningful and lasting change, always keeping in mind what is important to you. Your goals are my priority, and I am here to support you every step of the way.

Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

I am committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or socioeconomic status.

I believe that each person’s unique experiences and perspectives are essential to the therapeutic process. My practice is dedicated to providing a space where everyone feels valued, heard, and respected.

I continually strive to expand my cultural competence, challenge biases, and address systemic barriers to ensure that all clients receive compassionate and effective care.

You are seen, you are respected, and you are welcome here.
